No sponsorships, paid placements, or advertisements are live, and no company has paid to appear here. The companies listed on the site are real businesses, and their ordering reflects factual signals rather than payment.
This page describes the rules that will apply when sponsorships go live, so the rules exist before the money does.
How the Site May Earn Money
A comparison site has to be funded somehow. When the platform is live, revenue may come from sources such as:
- Sponsored or featured placements purchased by companies.
- Paid business tools and subscriptions for companies that claim their listing.
- Referral or lead fees if quote requests are ever passed to companies.
None of these is live on the site yet. If any is introduced, it falls under the rules on this page.
Sponsorships Will Be Clearly Labeled
Any paid placement will be marked so you can recognize it at a glance:
- It will carry a visible label such as “Sponsored” or “Ad” next to the placement itself.
- It will be visually separate from the ranked, independent results rather than blended into them.
- It will never be described as a recommendation, a “top pick,” or an endorsement of quality.
Sponsorships Never Change a Company's Ranking
A company's ranking is independent of payment and advertising. A sponsorship does not move a company up the ranked list, change how its public record is presented, or soften how a complaint is treated. Every company is ordered the same way, as described in our ranking methodology.
A sponsored company can still rank low, and a company that pays nothing can rank high.
Editorial Independence
When sponsorships go live, advertising and editorial work will be kept apart. The people who decide how companies are ranked and how the site is edited will not take instruction from advertisers, and an advertiser will not be able to approve or preview a ranking or a guide before it is published.
Our review policy applies equally to advertisers and non-advertisers.

Pages here may link to outside resources such as the FMCSA's public carrier lookup. We do not earn anything from those links. If we ever add links that pay us a commission, we will say so next to the link.
